Founder and principal designer, Melanie Rosenburg leads MASH Interiors with a passion for creating homes that are meaningful, authentic, stylish, and harmonious.

The name MASH began long before MASH Habitat Interiors became a design studio.

It started with the names of my four children: Max, Ava, Stella, and Hannah. As I began building my business, I realized those same letters represented the values I wanted every home to embody: Meaningful, Authentic, Stylish, and Harmonious.

Those principles have guided every project since I founded MASH Habitat Interiors.

At its core, MASH is built on the belief that meaningful design has the power to enrich everyday living. A home should do more than look beautiful—it should support the way you live, reflect who you are, and create a sense of comfort, connection, and well-being for the people who call it home.

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, I help homeowners navigate the complexities of remodeling, building, furnishing, and styling their homes with confidence. Whether we're reimagining an existing home, designing a new build, or selecting the finishing details that bring a space to life, our goal is always the same: to create homes that feel personal, intentional, and timeless.

Before becoming an interior designer, I spent years as an educator. That experience shaped the way I approach every project today. I believe great design begins with listening, understanding how people truly live, and guiding clients through the process in a way that feels organized, collaborative, and enjoyable.

As a wife, mother of four, and business owner, I understand firsthand how much our homes influence our daily lives. The spaces we live in impact our routines, our relationships, our ability to gather, recharge, and create memories. That's why thoughtful design is about more than aesthetics—it's about creating an environment that supports the life you want to live.

Today, MASH Habitat Interiors proudly serves homeowners throughout Fort Worth, Aledo, Weatherford, Mansfield, and the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. We also work with clients throughout Texas and beyond, helping transform houses into homes they love coming back to every day.

The MASH Method

Our 6-Step Design Process to keep all the details organized and cohesive.

01 DISCOVERY CALL

Each project begins with a complimentary discovery call where we discuss your project needs and figure out if we’re the right fit for the job. We will answer any questions or concerns and tell you about the next steps.

02 IN HOME CONSULT

We meet with you in your home to get a feel for your style and what you want to achieve. We offer tons of feedback, on-site suggestions and gather information needed to create a project plan.

03 SCOPE CREATION

Following our in-home consultation, we develop a budget breakdown and project timeline,. This is provided to you along with a summary of everything discussed during our visit.

04 DESIGN

This is the phase where we get to work on selecting those special pieces for your home! We will present them for approval before moving on to our next step…Procurement!

05 PROCURE

During this part of the process we are placing orders, tracking and receiving all the items as well as preforming quality control checks. Making sure that everything is as ordered, in one piece, correct color and so on. To prepare all items are ready for installation.

06 INSTALL

The final project execution means install day (our favorite day!) when all the design planning comes to life in your home. This is one of the most important steps where everything is pulled together.
